Each Town is Designed with the Golden Ratio Districts: A Harmonious Vision for Time Travel Times

|

March 11, 2024

At Music World, every town will be designed using the innovative concept of the Golden Ratio Districts, combining harmony, growth, and inspiration to guide Heroes (our brave Guests) through immersive experiences. These districts will not only celebrate iconic eras and cultures but also introduce virtues that inspire personal development, reflection, and joy.

The Golden Ratio Spiral, inspired by the sun’s path from east to west, will shape the layout of each town, symbolizing the natural progression of a journey. Beginning with a wish at the Start Pavilion and culminating in love, each district will represent a unique virtue that empowers Heroes to connect with their journey on a deeper level.

The 12 Golden Ratio Districts and Their Virtues

Each town in Music World will feature 12 distinct districts, each embodying a key virtue to transform the experience into a meaningful journey:

  1. Will: Keep moving forward with joy and courage at all times. Guests will begin their journey at the Start Pavilion, where they can make a wish to set their adventure in motion.
  2. Awareness/Consciousness: Listen and observe with five senses and make decisions with the sixth sense. This district will encourage Heroes to connect deeply with their surroundings.
  3. Joy: Power up the Will and Thought through the Spirit of Joy. In this vibrant district, Heroes will celebrate with music, laughter, and excitement.
  4. Visualization: Create mental prototypes of thoughts. A creative hub, this district will inspire Heroes to dream and imagine possibilities.
  5. Silence: Communicate only what may benefit others or oneself. A tranquil retreat for reflection and calmness.
  6. Action: Waste no time; always do something useful with prudence. This district will energize Heroes to engage with their surroundings.
  7. Harmony: Maintain in everything a pleasing combination of joy, relationships, feelings, actions, and interests. This district will blend music, culture, and connection seamlessly.
  8. Curiosity: Be eager to learn and explore what will benefit oneself and humanity. This exploratory district will challenge Heroes to discover new ideas and sounds.
  9. Brave: Always have the moral strength to face anything or anyone in life with fortitude. This bold district will inspire courage and adventure.
  10. Patience: Keep a positive attitude while things are happening; live with moderation and temperance. A serene district that encourages mindfulness.
  11. Order: Always keep environments, thoughts, and actions organized. This district will reflect structure and clarity.
  12. Love: Respect other people’s thoughts and deeds. Celebrate unity and connection in this final destination, bringing the journey to a meaningful close.

Inspired by Nature and Time

The Golden Ratio Spiral will guide the layout of each town, beginning in the east where the sun rises and moving westward, reflecting the flow of time. The design draws inspiration from the 12 full moons of the year, symbolizing cycles of growth and transformation.

Each town will serve as a microcosm of inspiration and exploration, offering Heroes spaces to reflect on their journey, connect with the virtues represented, and immerse themselves in the music and culture of the past.

Virtues in Action: Immersive Experiences

The Golden Ratio Districts will shape not only the layout but also the experiences within each town. For example:

  • In Will, Heroes will make a wish to ignite their journey at the inspiring Start Pavilion.
  • In Joy, street performances and interactive attractions will bring music and laughter to life.
  • In Curiosity, hands-on exhibits will challenge creativity and spark new ideas.
  • In Love, communal spaces will allow Heroes to reflect on and celebrate their shared experiences.

Each district will reflect the unique culture, music, and history of its era, from the jazz-filled streets of Chicago in the 1920s to the lively dance floors of Ibiza in the 2020s.

A Journey with Purpose

At Music World, the Golden Ratio Districts will turn each town into more than a destination—it will become a purposeful journey. By integrating virtues into every district, Music World will inspire Heroes to dream boldly, grow meaningfully, and connect deeply with the music, culture, and time they explore.

Be Happy and Step into Harmony

Music World is a place where music, time, and human connection converge. The Golden Ratio Districts will guide Heroes through a transformative experience filled with joy, discovery, and inspiration.

Every journey begins with a wish and ends with love. Every step offers an opportunity to grow, reflect, and celebrate.

Creating Music World, a destination where music, immersive experiences, and timeless design converge, requires more than skilled architects—it demands visionaries who can transform an extraordinary concept into a breathtaking reality. Our rigorous selection process ensures that every architect we hire meets our strict criteria and embodies the values that define Music World: sustainability, harmony, and a focus on human-centric design.

A Vision Rooted in Proportions and Storytelling

Music World is not simply a destination; it’s an immersive journey through music and time, where every structure tells a unique story. Inspired by classical principles like the golden ratio (1:1.618), the design of Music World is rooted in proportions that resonate with the human experience. Each building and town is meticulously crafted to create harmony between beauty and function, ensuring every space feels welcoming, balanced, and awe-inspiring.

Our architects must align with this vision, crafting spaces that evoke wonder while reflecting the era and cultural essence of each of Music World’s immersive towns. From the grand 20-acre Versailles-inspired gardens to the intricately designed towns representing 11 decades of music, every detail must contribute to an overarching narrative.

Criteria and Expectations Before Hiring Architects

The architects we hire are carefully evaluated against a set of rigorous criteria to ensure they are not only capable but also aligned with Music World’s mission. These criteria include:

  1. Design Philosophy:
Architects must demonstrate a commitment to human-centric design principles. Their work should emphasize storytelling, historical context, and the ability to create spaces that engage and inspire visitors.
  2. Sustainability Expertise:
Candidates must have a proven track record of incorporating sustainable practices into their designs, including the use of eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy solutions such as solar integration and 3D-printed structures.
  3. Mastery of Proportions:
An understanding of the golden ratio and its application in architecture is critical. We prioritize architects who can design spaces that feel harmonious and proportional, resonating with the human experience.
  4. Collaborative Spirit:
Music World is a multidisciplinary project that involves artists, historians, engineers, and designers. Architects must be excellent communicators and collaborators, able to seamlessly integrate their vision with that of the broader team.
  5. Innovative Thinking:
We seek architects who can push creative boundaries while staying true to Music World’s timeless principles. Their designs should strike a balance between tradition and modern innovation, offering fresh perspectives that enhance the visitor experience.

The Selection Process

The hiring process for architects at Music World is structured to identify individuals who meet these criteria and exceed our expectations.

  1. Initial Screening:
We begin by reviewing portfolios to identify architects who have worked on culturally significant projects, public spaces, or historic restorations. Particular attention is given to those who excel in creating interactive, human-focused environments such as museums, concert halls, and gardens.
  2. Philosophy Alignment:
We evaluate candidates’ design philosophies to ensure they align with Music World’s values. Architects must demonstrate a deep understanding of sustainability, storytelling, and the golden ratio in their work.
  3. Design Challenge:
Finalists participate in a design challenge, where they create a conceptual design for a specific aspect of Music World, such as a pavilion or town inspired by a particular decade. This allows us to assess their creativity, technical skill, and ability to translate our vision into tangible designs.
  4. Interviews and Collaboration:
During interviews, we assess not only their technical expertise but also their ability to collaborate within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.

Building the Future of Music World

By adhering to these rigorous criteria and expectations, we ensure that every architect we hire contributes to the creation of a cohesive, immersive, and inspiring destination. Music World is not just a collection of structures—it’s a symphony of design, sustainability, and storytelling. Together with our architects, we are creating a destination where music, history, and design harmonize to provide unforgettable experiences for every Hero who steps through our gates. Music World is not just a destination; it’s a journey that celebrates creativity, connection, and the timeless power of human-centered design.
